We are recruiting for the following roles:
Our Chalet Manager is responsible for up to five chalets and approx. 12 staff. He/she is responsible for all aspects of the successful day-to-day management of all in-resort operations. The role is very diverse; from guest relations and staff management, to monitoring standards and logistical arrangements; you will need to have high standards of organisation and attention to detail with a pragmatic and enthusiastic approach. Very high standards will be expected, and a full and clean UK driving licence is useful. This is a really exciting way to gain management experience whilst having a lot of fun, and would really suit an out-going and adventurous ‘people person’ looking to get involved in delivering a wide range of resort services.
At Venture Ski we consider the in Chalet cuisine to be paramount to the overall high quality experience that we strive to provide. We offer one of the most competitive packages in the ski industry to attract top talent. As one of our professional Chalet Chefs, you will be working in one of our three larger Chalets, each catering up to 24 people. Naturally, due to the excellent standard of food produced in these Chalets our Chefs will be expected to have a high level of industry experience and training. Working alongside a team in your Chalets you will be expected to provide a Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and 4-course Dinner six nights a week. Please note we do not require our chefs to organise purchasing or do any shopping. Unlike most chalet companies, all food purchasing and storage is centralised at Venture Ski and managed by our Stores Administrator.
