Our Guest Relations Managers will automatically offer you a tour of the Sainte Foy ski area upon arrival however, up to three days a week our special ski hosts will be taking intermediate and above skiers into the neighbouring resorts on safari to really make the most of your holiday. So why not check in for a great day out? Here's what you'll need:
Ski Passes
The Sainte Foy ski pass (six day or more) includes a half price discount on a single day in each of the neighbouring resorts: Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere.
Ability
While we are as accommodating as possible, we do require a minimum standard of ability in order to allow the group to progress and make the most of these very large snow areas. Depending on the number of skiers, we will usually take two groups – one for intermediate/leisurely skiers, and one for advanced skiers/speed demons! We will not generally ski on particularly difficult/black runs unless the whole group wants to however, skiers should be of an ability to ski competently on blue and red runs, as they may be needed to transit between ski zones. If you are in doubt as to whether you are up to it all you need to do is ask a day before and we will be quite happy to do a quick assessment or give advice. If there are two groups, we will meet-up at a great restaurant for lunch to allow you to catch-up with other guests or if preferred, transfer to the other group.
The Rules!
Venture Ski hosts are not allowed to go off-piste, or offer any instruction to you. They are there to show you around the ski area, and where possible will use their local knowledge to choose the best pistes at the time to ensure you can make the most of the day. If you want to leave the group at any time you can, just ensure your host knows you have “checked out”. If you want to take a deviation and meet up later that's also okay, just be sure to check out of and back into the group. You must hold adequate ski insurance in accordance with the our Terms and Conditions. It is your own responsibility to ski within your ability. If you are unhappy to go on a particular slope, our hosts will try to help by advising on a different route or taking the group a different way. However, that is not always possible, and in those cases, you must use your own judgement. Venture Ski cannot accept any responsibility for loss or injury incurred during a ski safari day.
