At Venture Ski we believe that sometimes our guests need that little bit extra. that's why one of our Directors is always at the resort to ensure your needs are being met. Our team is dedicated to ensure your holiday experience is just what it should be. There are also a number of services that Venture Ski provides, over and above our famous client care:
Helicopter airport/chalet transfer
It’s not as much as you think, and you’ll land at our helipad 20m from your chalet door! From £280 per person you can cut your two-and-a-half hour airport transfer to just 30mins, …and enjoy some stunning views along the way.
Massage Therapy
Arguably the best part of a ski holiday! Our in-house masseuse will be delighted to treat you with a deep tissue massage, either 30mins or one hour.
Mountain Picnic
Weather permitting we love to surprise our guests with a special lunch out on the mountain with tables and chairs dug out of pure snow!
Alpine Walks
Occasionally it’s nice to take a break half way through your holiday and see the mountain and its forest at a slightly more sedate pace. Walking from your chalet door you can stroll to the ancient farming hamlet of Le Monal which is a listed site due to its architectural and historical significance to see the 18th century St Clair chapel.
Husky Dog Sledding
Not for the feint-hearted or little ones. This is the real deal with YOU driving the Husky’s along narrow mountain paths. Bring a hip flask full of Brandy!
Ski Touring
Our guides will introduce you this great cardio workout sport. Touring bindings and ‘skins’ on the bottom of your standard skis allow you to ‘skin’ up the sides of the pistes. Who needs a lift pass!?!
Wine Tasting
Just 10mins from the chalet is the local ‘Cave’ at Le Monal and their Sommelier will introduce you to some of the finer wines from around the Region
Guided Snow Shoe (Racquet) Walks
The ‘racquets’ simply strap on to your walking shoes and voila! you can walk comfortably and easily on snow. There are dozens of stunning forest walks through the forest right on your doorstep and you might see deer, Marmotte or a rare Black Grouse.
Shopping trip in Val d’Isere
Come on ladies, how about a bit of retail therapy midweek to give those aching ski legs a rest?
