Chalet Les Sapins was built in 2005 employing the local Savoyard architectural style, with traditional pitched roofs and wooden balconies, using local stone and wood from the mountain Larch forest. With views from all floors it looks across and down the Isere valley towards Villaroger and La Rosière. This outstanding large chalet has eight en-suite double bedrooms and two larger family suites (also en-suite). Downstairs there is a private spa (also with unrestricted views across the valley) comprising 10 metre swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, changing room and separate massage treatment room.
The central lounge & dining area is sumptuously appointed with leather sofas nestling a walk-around log fire. Meals are served either for individual couples, groups or as a banquet table for all guests – you choose.
This chalet is perfect for large parties or for smaller groups who enjoy mixing with new company on holiday.
With bedrooms spread over three floors, there is plenty of flexibility to be part of a large group, but with separation and personal space when needed. Each en-suite room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player plus there is an iPod station in the lounge and wireless broadband internet on the ground floor. There is no Satellite or terrestrial television in this chalet; our guests prefer lively conversation and family fun!
Les Sapins also boasts a small crèche full of toys and games plus a private ski locker at the entrance. Competent skiers can ski back to the door through most of the season, right across the field in front of the chalet. Competent off-piste skiers and boarders can also enjoy leaving from the back of the chalet and making their way cross country down the 4km of terrain to the village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise for a well earned drink in the Le Monal bar.
