Venture Ski was formed late in 2003 by a small group of executives with over 50 years of combined experience in corporate life. Although we have over 25 years experience in the Alps, we haven’t forgotten what you need to run a productive corporate event.
We understand the need for flexibility; we can organise your event to specifically to your requirements - no fixed transfer days, no fixed menus, no coach schedules and you don’t even need to spend spare time in one particular ski resort.
It doesn’t matter if your team are beginners or expert skiers, or maybe are not even skiers at all. Any time given to outdoor/leisure can be traditional time on the slopes, or activities as diverse as dog sledding or snow walking. We can customise all elements of your stay to meet your own individual requirements.
We are based in Sainte Foy which is services by Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Chambery airports – all accessed by regular flights from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle & Edinburgh. Our chalets at the heart of the Tarentaise and the middle of the Isere Valley are sumptuously appointed and the chair lift is only a two minute walk from the door.

Example event programme:
- Monday night arrive – Champagne Reception
- Tuesday am – Company time (09:00 – 11:00)
- Tuesday pm – Sainte Foy ski hosting (define groups)
- Tuesday evening – chalet meals (could include dinner safari)
- Wednesday – Ski hosting Val d’Isere
- Wednesday evening – dinner out - Bergerie or Maison a Colonnes
- Thursday – Company Time (09:00 – 13:00)
- Thursday pm – Ski Races, tobogganing, skidoo, dog sled, ski velo
- Thursday night – Dinner, party, awards distributed, partners arrive (optional)
- Friday – transport to airport or partners arrive for free skiing into weekend.
We can customise an event to your budget and specific objectives. One of our business consultants will visit you to ensure the event requirements are understood and delivered. In most cases, your consultant will travel out to the resort ahead of your party to ensure all the details for the visit are in place.
What will always be included is our Venture Ski luxury accommodation, gourmet cuisine, and bespoke customer service that ensures you and your team are always at the centre of what we do.
There are few limits to what can be achieved so your budget will set the agenda. This event may be one of the most important strategic investments you will make this year, and at a fraction of the cost that you invest in your salary bill every day. But as a value multiplier it will achieve more than any bonus or pay rise you could offer.
We will work within the tightest budget and an event for a small team can cost only a few thousand pounds. Likewise, we can put together a prestigious package for up to 80 people and allocate our whole resort team to meeting your needs. Availability is the only factor, so we recommend you plan your event as early as possible. We would always work with you as far as possible if there were any last minute changes to be incorporated.
What will process will we follow?
- A member of our team will visit your offices and will consult with your senior manager/HR Rep to tailor our programme to your requirements.
- We will compile a list of participants and will post a personal invitation to all participants (detail/’mystery’ to be agreed)
- We will meet your team at the airport and transport them to their chalet in exclusive Sainte Foy
- We will make all arrangements in the Alps to ensure a productive, enjoyable and highly rewarding week
- We will collate photographs of the event
- We will host an awards ceremony during the final night and supply agreed awards
- We will provide transport to the airport at the end of the trip
- As an option, if available, we will allow your team members to book discounted follow-on weekend breaks, collecting partners/families from the airport and returning them on Sunday night/Monday morning.
